The main library is open to students from 7am to 10pm Monday to Saturday and, on Sunday, from after lunch to 10pm. The public may use the library during business hours, 9am – 5pm Monday to Friday. There is a 24-hour study room for students as part of the library.
We are transferring the current library into a new Library Management System, beginning with the books needed for the units you are studying. These are available in the new Education Block study room. You can search for these books here http://www.accessitsoftware.com.au/WRL00/
Your Worldview Student ID card also acts as your library card.
You will need to access electronic journals and magazines as part of your studies. You can do this via the MST eCampus.
The student photocopier requires a password to operate and accounts will be presented at the end of each term for payment. Printing is 5c per black & white page and 10c per colour page (regardless of the size of the paper).
There are very strict copyright laws in Australia. The Copyright Act states that students are permitted to copy a reasonable portion of a literary, dramatic or musical work in both print and electronic form for the purpose of research or study: reasonable portion is defined to be 10% of the number of pages or one chapter if the work divided into chapters.
You may scan to a USB drive or email scanned files from the library photocopier free of charge.
