Don and wife, Denise, served with WEC International in Ivory Coast and Senegal for 15 years. They were involved in church planting among the Worodougou people. Don brings this wealth of experience into his passion for leading the Worldview team and teaching future cross-cultural missioners.

Dani is well aquainted with cross-cultural living, having grown up as a missionary kid in Spain. He and wife Kristie recently spent time in Mexico working alongside Christian Surfers personnel. Dani is a gifted musician and served as Creative Arts Pastor for Door of Hope Christian Church in Launceston. He is part of the Worldview leadership team and steps in as Principal when Don is traveling.

Christoph joined Worldview in 2015. Although German by nationality, he has spent a significant number of years in America, Israel, China, and England, both studying and ministering. Despite climbing the PhD ladder, Christoph attributes his greatest spiritual growth to his year in a small, residential Bible college. His desire is to see this kind of growth happen in the lives of students at Worldview. Christoph is always up for a good theological discussion and even more so if it is over a cup of coffee.

Vince served with WEC International, church planting in Spain for 14 years with his wife and family and has been a member of the Worldview staff since 1995. He is also involved in pastoral ministry at the Riverside Gospel Chapel. Apart from lecturing, Vince invests in the lives of those studying at Worldview through academic coaching.

Simon has recently joined the Worldview team after a number of years working as a church planter in Japan. Alongside his responsibilities in Japan as team leader, he combined a keen interest for the Japanese language and people, sign language, and expertise in computer programming to provide technical assistance to the Japan Sign Language Bible translation team. Simon also runs his own publishing company to promote the work of non-Western and first-time theological writers. He has authored a number of books on Perl programming. Clearly a multi tasker!

Stefan’s heartbeat is to see men and women find wholeness in Christ. He worked with Betel Ministries for 13 years in Greece among people struggling with substance abuse and currently has a part time role at City Mission, Launceston. Stefan brings this heart and experience into his teaching.

Marylou is enthusiastic about outreach, supporting children’s ministries and chaplaincy throughout Tasmania. She was a staff worker with Campus Crusade for Christ for 8 years with her husband Graeme before serving in Asia with the United Mission to Nepal.
Henrietta, with husband Simon and two children, joined the staff team in 2016 bringing a wealth of cross-cultural experience through her church planting role with WEC International in Japan. Her strengths are in listening to people, giving, hospitality, teaching and written communication. Her Worldview role involves the redevelopment of the student ministry program to ensure it is effective in developing skills for ongoing cross-cultural ministry. She also teaches English and Cross-cultural Communication.

Denise’s vivacious nature is well suited to community living and learning and she is an enthusiastic educator. After graduating from Worldview herself, she pursued a career in Christian education and spent 7 years in Singapore with the International Community School. Denise is on sabbatical in 2017.

Mark spent eight years in Mongolia in administrative, leadership and teaching roles before returning to Australia with his family to join the Worldview staff team.

Kristie is the Principal’s personal assistant and receptionist. However, she has number of strings to her bow. A nurse by profession, Kristie is the first port of call for medical matters at Worldview. She also heads up the Worldview promotions committee. Event management is one of her strengths and she brings a natural enthusiasm to this role. Kristie is married to Dani and served as Creative Arts Co-director at Door of Hope Church before spending six months working in Mexico alongside Christian Surfers.
Tracee, our exuberant librarian, first joined the Worldview team in 2004, with husband Jim and two children, as a caterer. She has served as the receptionist and hostess before completing her librarian studies.

Young joined Worldview in 2013 after spending a year with the WEC team in South Africa. He and his wife, Eun Kyong Lee are graduates of Worldview. Young brings invaluable expertise to his role in IT support.

Graeme is our cheerful and easy going maintenance man and he supervises the students during the Wednesday afternoon practical sessions. He also runs short courses in practical skills such as electronics, plumbing and car maintenance. Graeme has been a member of the Worldview staff since 1996. His experience includes 12 years with Campus Crusade for Christ and 6 years serving in Asia with United Mission to Nepal.

Sue manages the Worldview Play Centre, providing a nurturing and stimulating environment for the preschool children of Worldview staff and students.

Staci’s first exposure to missions came as a baby when her parents moved from America to Indonesia to serve with New Tribes Mission. After completing her studies at university in Bible and Elementary Education, Staci moved to China to teach at an international school. This was followed by several years in England after which she, her husband Christoph, and their three children moved to Worldview. Staci loves living in multicultural settings and having people around to her house.

Pil Soon, wife of Mark, joined Worldview in 2014 after spending 8 years in Mongolia serving in leadership and children’s ministry. Prior to that she spent two years serving in an orphanage in Nepal. She has a pastoral heart and loves to spend time with people. She has a concern for refugees and building life-changing friendship with them. Pil Soon is a member of the leadership team.

Eun Kyong Lee
Prayer Convenor / Careers Advisor
Eun Kyong studied at Worldview from 2007 to 2010 and then joined a WEC team in South Africa with her husband Young and daughter Sarah. Eun Kyong returned to Worldview in 2013 to complete her Bachelor of Cross-cultural Ministry. She joined the staff team as the prayer convener, reading and responding to news from across the world and bringing issues to the Worldview community for prayer. From this wealth of information and understanding she can advise students on future ministry options. She enjoys listening to and praying with people.
