Dani Misdom
Dani is well aquainted with cross-cultural living, having grown up as a missionary kid in Spain. He and wife Kristie joined the staff team in 2014 after spending time in Mexico working alongside Christian Surfers personnel. Dani is a gifted musician and served as Creative Arts Pastor for Door of Hope Christian Church in Launceston. He was appointed Principal from January 2019.

Christoph Ochs
Christoph joined Worldview in 2015. Although German by nationality, he has spent a significant number of years in America, Israel, China, and England, both studying and ministering. Despite climbing the PhD ladder, Christoph attributes his greatest spiritual growth to his year in a small, residential Bible college. His desire is to see this kind of growth happen in the lives of students at Worldview. Christoph is always up for a good theological discussion and even more so if it is over a cup of coffee.

Sandra combines a heart for ministry with a business background, bringing these together in her new role as Registrar. She is responsible for student applications, enrolments and faculty administration.

Stefan Wagner
Stefan’s heartbeat is to see men and women find wholeness in Christ. He worked with Betel Ministries for 13 years in Greece among people struggling with substance abuse and currently has a part time role at City Mission, Launceston. Stefan brings this heart and experience into his teaching and supervision of student ministry.

Marylou Townsend
Marylou is enthusiastic about outreach, supporting children’s ministries and chaplaincy throughout Tasmania. She was a staff worker with Campus Crusade for Christ for 8 years with her husband Graeme before serving in Asia with the United Mission to Nepal. Marylou coordinates the corporate worship and prayer mornings and supports the student ministry program.

Tracee, our exuberant librarian, first joined the Worldview team in 2004, with husband Jim and two children, as a caterer. She has served as the receptionist and hostess before completing her librarian studies.

Kristie Misdom
Leadership Team / Promotions / Nurse
Kristie has number of strings to her bow. A nurse by profession, she is the first port of call for medical matters at Worldview. She heads up the Worldview promotions committee, manages facilities bookings and brings a natural enthusiasm to event management. Kristie is married to Dani and served as Creative Arts Co-director at Door of Hope Church before spending six months working in Mexico alongside Christian Surfers. Kristie is a member of the leadership team.

Pil Soon, wife of Mark, joined Worldview in 2014 after spending 8 years in Mongolia serving in leadership and children’s ministry. Prior to that she spent two years serving in an orphanage in Nepal. She has a pastoral heart and loves to spend time with people. She has a concern for refugees and building life-changing friendship with them. Pil Soon is a member of the leadership team.

Mark spent eight years in Mongolia in administrative, leadership and teaching roles before returning to Australia with his family to join the Worldview staff team.

Dan Brinker
Kitchen Manager
Dan and his family joined our community in 2019. Although originally from U.S. they spent several years in the U.K. with WEC. Dan is passionate about discipleship and his culinary skills provide the right avenue to rub shoulders with volunteers each day in the kitchen. Sitting around the table sharing a meal regularly is highly important at Worldview so Dan’s management of the kitchen and provision of quality food each day is invaluable.

Graeme Townsend
Maintenance Manager
Graeme is our cheerful and easy going maintenance man and he supervises the students during the Wednesday afternoon practical sessions. He also runs short courses in practical skills such as electronics, plumbing and car maintenance. Graeme has been a member of the Worldview staff since 1996. His experience includes 12 years with Campus Crusade for Christ and 6 years serving in Asia with United Mission to Nepal.

Play Centre Manager
Susan manages the Worldview Play Centre, providing a nurturing and stimulating environment for the preschool children of Worldview staff and students. In 2018 ‘Auntie Sue’ celebrated 40 years of service on the staff team.

Staci Ochs
Catering Assistant / Academic Dean’s Personal Assistant
Staci’s first exposure to missions came as a baby when her parents moved from America to Indonesia to serve with New Tribes Mission. After completing her studies at university in Bible and Elementary Education, Staci moved to China to teach at an international school. This was followed by several years in England after which she, her husband Christoph, and their three children moved to Worldview. Staci loves living in multicultural settings and having people around to her house.

Cameron Wood
Farm Manager
Cameron comes from a dairy farming background and is a graduate of Worldview. He and his family joined the staff team in 2018 when Cameron took on responsibility for management of the Worldview farm.
